Explore the Challenges that Visually Impaired Students Face when Accessing Education at College Level

Abstract

This study explores the challenges faced by visually impaired college students in Rawalpindi, aiming to draw attention from relevant authorities and the public. Utilizing a descriptive, qualitative approach grounded in Interpretivism, the research involved interviews with 20 visually impaired students from 24 colleges. The findings reveal significant barriers to accessing college education for these students. Recommendations include increased attention and action from government bodies, college administrations, and parents to address and resolve these issues.
